TRAIL WALKTHROUGH: This beginner hike is great for those who will want to learn more about hiking and about the group. Before the hike, we’ll have an “Intro to Hiking” session that will introduce first-time hikers to common outdoor gear and hiking tips we use on different level hikes. This is intended to provide a better preparation for future hikes. We’ll then start of on some of the very easy trails inside the park. Since there is no specific trail, the set of routes will be chosen the day of the hike. There are some small uphills but we’ll be taking any small gain at a beginner level.

PARKING FEE:  Free inside the Ascot Hills Park parking lot.

REQUIRED: At least a 20oz bottle of water.

RECOMMENDED:  Comfortable walking shoes, sun screen, a hat and a small snack.
