TRAIL WALK-THRU: With 600+ feet of elevation gain in the first mile, this hike starts as a challenge. After the series of switchbacks comes the fire road that’ll take us along the ridge (rattlesnake ridge). We’ll make our way along the road which will take us in a loop all the way back down to the parking lot.

RECOMMENDED: Bring water (2 liters), Sun Screen, sweats/windbreakers (plenty of pokey dry brush) .

NOT RECOMMENDED: Small children.

NOTE: This is a real work out, you will sweat. This is not a shady hike, it’s sunshine happy. However, the view from the top will be worth the hike.
