HIKE DURATION: 2.5 hours

HIKE DISTANCE:  3 miles approx (round-trip)

TRAIL WALK-THRU:  We will start off on a flat trail for the first 1/2 mile.   And then, we’ll start to go up plenty of uphill at a gradual incline (it’s a workout). Our goal is to touch the water tower at the top!   There is a magnificent view of the surrounding area, almost 360 degree view.  We then will go down an easy trail which leads us out the rest of the way back to the flat trail which brought us in.

REQUIRED: WATER, at least 1.5 liters or at least three 20oz water bottles. Comfortable walking/tennis/hiking shoes.

WATER REQUIRED. WATER CHECK WILL BE PERFORMED. If you do not take enough water or are not appropriately equipped for this hike, you will be turned away from doing this hike with us even if you show up. Please note, that we have expectations for Level 6 evening hikers. Read all the details.

RECOMMENDED:  Small snack. Hiking pole. Sun Screen. Pack light and wear light colors. Long pants (windbreakers or light gym pants)

DOG FRIENDLY?: Yes, but small dogs may get tired. Remember the to bring a leash and a baggy!

NOT RECOMMENDED: Small children.

NOTE:  This is a real work out, you will sweat.  This is not a shady hike, it’s sunshine happy. However, the view from the top will be worth the hike.
