TRAIL WALKTHROUGH: Come join us as we hike the grounds of Will Rogers State Historical Park. Rogers himself designed the trails that wind into the hills behind his ranch. We will be passing by his house, around the beautiful green grassy area enjoying beautiful views of his ranch that will lead us to our hiking trail up to Inspiration Point. On a clear day views are inspiring: the Santa Monica Bay, the Metropolis, the San Gabriel Mountains, and even Catalina Island. We will be hiking approx 3.5 miles roundtrip from our starting point. Depending on group, we can stay and take a free tour of his house on the way back from the hike. The hike itself will have minimal to steady incline on dirt trails.

REQUIRED: 1 to 2 Liters of water, sports/hiking shoes, a good sized snack.

RECOMMENDED:  Tough/Sport/walking shoes, sun screen. Dress in layers in case it gets a little cold and warms up during the hike.

MY FRIEND SAID I CAN DO THIS HIKE, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO IT, RIGHT?
We take your safety quite seriously, and would not like for you to attend a hike you’re not ready for.  You know your body and hiking experience better than your friends. Whether you are a first-timer or an experienced hiker, please read our hike details page as the hike may not suite your experience level. We have a better experience if every hike has hikers of the intended level.
