HIKE TIME: 7:20pm

DURATION: 2 Hours (approx.)

TRAIL LEVEL:  Level 4

TRAIL WALKTHROUGH:  This night hike will take us from the trail head in the Griffith Observatory parking lot to Mt. Hollywood peak (aka Dante’s Peak).  On our way up the steep mountain climb, we’ll be taking the first two trails in medium mode.  The last of the 3 will be a little more intense.  We can get to the top in about 35 minutes and will allow us to have a break and a spectacular view of the Los Angeles basin from the top. We’ll come down the all 3 medium trails.

RECOMMENDED: At least 1 liter of water, some comfortable shoes with some grip (normal tennis shoes will do), flashlight (red,blue,green light – no white light please), and some good snacks. Don’t forget to touch the green pole at the top!
