We are happy to announce that we’ve brought on board two Tweeters (who also happen to be hikers) to represent the the LA Trail Hikers on Twitter!
Melisa Puga and Peter Flanigan will be joining the organization as the voice of the group within the Twitter-sphere using our account (@latrailhikers). They will be the force tweeting:
- the group’s upcoming hikes
- the group’s social events
- general LATH information
- answers to questions sent to us via Twitter
- anything other noted messages about the group
Not only that, they will also be working together to become a hiking resource to all our followers by tweeting:
- hike related articles and images
- to establish the #LATH hastag
- interacting with the Twitter community about LATH & Hiking in General
- trivia and other hiking crowd source intents
- to further grow the LA Trail Hikers within Twitter
The #LATH hastag will connect tweets to join conversations with us. So if you use Twitter, feel free to connect with us and share your tweets and pictures using that hash tag. We look forward to growing the among the hiking community, and volunteers like these two, our hike leads, and friends of the LA Trail Hikers make it happen!
