TRAIL NAME: Azusa River Wilderness Park
HIKE PREREQUISITE: None. This is an easy 3-mile hike at an easy pace
HIKE DATE: Sunday, March 31, 2019
MEETING TIME: 8:30am – 8:45am.
Please be on time. We will wait 15 minutes and leave the meeting point at 8:45am.
Return Approx: 10:30 am

HIKE LEVEL: Level 2 – Beginner, great for children and dogs (all dogs must be kept on a leash and picked up after). A lovely family outing.
HIKE DISTANCE: 3 miles round trip
HIKE DURATION: 1 to 1.5 hrs (approx)

RECOMMENDED: Water (minimum 1 liter) and also for your four-legged companions, a light snack and comfortable shoes (no open-toed or sandles)
HIKE WALKTHROUGH: We will follow a flat service road for approximately 1 mile and then a dirt path for the last .5 mile. There are some beautiful views of the Canyon and river along the way, a view underground springs and a lovely break spot. The recent rains have produced lots of greenery and hopefully a few spring flowers along the way.
RESTROOMS: There is a porta-potty in the parking lot behind a wooden enclosure (however, we recommend taking care of this prior to the hike).
DOG-FRIENDLY?: Yes, but on keep them on a leash. You must pick up after your pet.
