PARKING: You will need to park street side along the baseball field or residential side along San Pascual Ave. You may have a bit of a walk back to the stables, so make sure you get there early to account for finding parking.
(FYI: New signs have been posted that state San Pasqual Stables Parking is for Patrons only)

REQUIRED: WATER (at least one bottle of water)

RECOMMENDED:  Water Bottle (at least two 20 oz), comfortable shoes with grip, sun block, a hat.

HIKE WALKTHROUGH: From the San Pasqual horse stables parking lot we will walk towards the trail head and hike along the right-hand side of the Arroyo Seco. We will pass underneath historical bridges, pass the archery range, and go past the fly-fishing casting pool. The ground on this trail is flat but if we get a group of adventurous hikers we can take a detour for a slight incline and extend the distance by about .75 miles and head back where this continues on to Brookside Park. We will be walking towards Rose bowl on the paved road towards upper/north end of Parking Lot K, then continue walking to the trail head that starts at the other end of the Golf Course. We go along side on a fairly easy shaded trail alongside the golf course. There is a small incline right before this trail becomes its own treat as we get closer to the Arroyo going under the 210 Fwy and cross the Arroyo. We will then continue onward to do a complete loop and come out on the other side of the golf course and back the same way back to the stables.

RESTROOMS: There will be restrooms available to use 1/3 of the way in at the pool casting area.

DOG-FRIENDLY?: Yes, but on keep them on a leash. You must pick up after your pet.
