HIKE WALKTHROUGH: This is a nice well maintained trail, very welcoming in a beautiful neighborhood of Diamond Bar. This is perfect for beginners or for anyone who appreciates the outdoors. We will begin right past the baseball fields on a paved path downwards passing through a play-ground, across a bridge and over a small creek. Walking through the park, we will reach a smooth dirt path shaded by different types of trees where we connect to an actual hiking trail. We will continue out of the shade through a gradual incline that leads to an abundant climb of stairs to the upper trail to your right. It leads to a beautiful landscaped garden with cactus and a variety of other plants that greet you when you arrive to the spectacular view of the city. Once on top we loop around the garden, passing by a few back yards of the beautiful residential neighborhood it is and come back down the wide path of stairs to continue the hike up another section of stairs to our resting point and return back through a shaded area that has a little water creek. There are benches and workout areas located along the trail and picnic areas as well.
PARKING: The parking area is accommodating.
RESTROOMS: Will be available, as well as drinking fountains to refill your water bottles
REQUIRED: WATER (at least one or two 20 oz water bottles, or half to 1 liter of water)

IS IT DOG-FRIENDLY?: Yes. Dogs must be on a leash. You must bring water for your dog and pick up after your dog.

MY FRIEND SAID I CAN DO THIS HIKE, I SHOULD BE ABLE TO DO IT, RIGHT?
We take your safety quite seriously, and would not like for you to attend a hike you’re not ready for. You know your body and hiking experience better than your friends. Whether you are a first-timer or an experienced hiker, please read our hike details page as the hike may not suite your experience level. We have a better experience if every hike has hikers of the intended level.
