The 2020 hikes for Friday March 13 (Hellman Park), Saturday, March 14 (Flower Fields), and Sunday, March 15 (Wildwood Regional Park) have been canceled due to park area closures and expected rain. We hope to schedule these hike again in the near future. Thanks for your understanding. #GoLATH

Hike Cancellation: Sat 9/2 Brown Mountain

*** HIKE CANCELLATION ***
Due to a heat advisory warning in the Brown Mountain area, we’ll be cancelling Saturday’s hike. The trail is quite exposed and we do focus on hiker safety first. So we’ll just wait until Sunday & Monday when we have trails with good shade and hopefully cooler temperatures.

Hike Canceled May 07 – Griffith Park Amir’s Garden to 5-points

*** HIKE CANCELED MAY 7 ***
We apologize for the cancellation, however, our hike lead had recommended the May 7 hike (Griffith Park – Amir’s Garden to 5-points) be canceled due to the morning rain that may impact the trail, and our scheduled hike lead was not feeling well this morning. But, we’ll see see on the next available hike.
