November & December 2014 LATH Hikes
It’s almost time for the holiday season and our LATH Hike Leads have prepared a great list of hikes for November and December to close out the 2014 LATH hiking season. We’ve had some great adventures in 2014, including our recent Grand Canyon Road Trip Hike! Just so you know, that trip was one that the hike leads had planning on setting up for a few years, and it finally came to fruition! Throughout 2014, we’ve met many new hikers that have become part of, what our hikers have warmly called, our LATH family. We’re happy to have with us while we go on some great hikes in and around Los Angeles. In addition, at the end of our hiking season, we have schedule a LATH Winter Break (details listed below the December hikes) to allow our hike leads to take a well deserved break. But hey, the season’s not done yet, so let’s get to that hikes list schedule and go on a LATH hike!

September & October 2014 LATH Hikes
Summer is coming to a close, and the first day of Fall is right around the corner (Sept 23, Autumnal Equinox). Last month we celebrated our 5th Year Anniversary, a great milestone in LA Trail Hikers history! A big thanks to all the LA Trail Hikers who were able to join us at our Annual Beach party and on our Anniversary Hike at Griffith Park! It seems we’ve only just begun to motivate the people of Los Angeles to go out for a hike in their local nature parks, but we’ll continue doing so as we move forward. Well, it’s time for our schedule of hikes. The LATH Hike Leads have heard you out and put together a good spread of different leveled hikes in September and October. In addition, we’ll be doing volunteer hike at Amir’s Garden (http://www.amirsgarden.org/) in Griffith Park, be going on some new hikes, experience some higher level trails, and head out to the Grand Canyon for our road trip hike. We hope there’s a hike here that fits your hiking experience level. So go ahead and check the hikes that LATH has scheduled just for you!
